Overview

Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.

As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live, you'll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll be working as part of the Alcohol team, based in either Runcorn or Widnes. The team supports people with their or their loved ones' drug and/or alcohol issues.

No two days are the same, and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious, and a good listener are key.

We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision and have someone on site who you can approach for day-to-day advice and guidance. In return for the time you give, you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. You'll be making a real difference too.

Compulsory Training

Compulsory training will be taking place on the following dates, please be aware you would need to attend for these prior to commencing a role:

  1. Tuesday 24th June - Runcorn (9:30-3)
  2. Monday 30th June - Runcorn (9:30-3)
  3. Wednesday 2nd July - Widnes site (9:30-12)
