Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Alcohol & Substances Specialist Nurse to lead care within the acute hospital Alcohol & Substances Care Team. You will assess patients, develop and evaluate tailored care plans, and support holistic care across the hospital.

You will undertake assertive outreach to engage patients in treatment, advocate for vulnerable individuals, and promote evidence-based practice while deputising for the Alcohol Service Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in addiction services or acute hospital setting.
• Strong communication and safeguarding skills.
