Job Title: Alcohol Recovery Practitioner
Location: London
Rate: £22 P/H Umbrella Ltd (£19.46 PAYE Inclusive)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Alcohol Recovery Practitioner to join our team in London. As an Alcohol Recovery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with alcohol misuse, helping them to overcome their addiction and achieve a healthier, happier life.

About the Role:
As an Alcohol Recovery Practitioner, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support to individuals affected by alcohol misuse. Your primary focus will be on assessing, planning, and delivering individualized support plans to help clients overcome their addiction. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of service policies, procedures, and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' needs and develop personalized support plans to address their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
  • Provide one-to-one support, group work, and family sessions to help clients overcome their addiction
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, social workers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies, procedures, and programs
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field)
  • Experience working with individuals affected by alcohol misuse
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and legislation (e.g., the Alcohol etc. and Tobacco Products Act 2019)
