We are seeking an Alarms System Implementation Specialist for our defence sector client based in Salisbury on an initial 24-month contract paying up to £670 per day inside IR35.

This role is non-digital and requires full-time on-site attendance.

You will need to hold or pass SC Clearance.

The successful Alarms System Implementation Specialist will be responsible for leading the implementation of a lab-wide alarms management model, ensuring compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards. You’ll work with subject matter experts to roll out the alarms policy, develop processes and training, support upskilling activities, and guide the design and operation of alarm systems that mitigate Major Accident Hazard (MAH) risks.

You will play a critical role in aligning the organisation’s alarm systems with Relevant Good Practice and supporting future strategy and compliance.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience implementing and operating alarm systems such as Trend, Vista, Schneider (EcoStruxure), and Sauter

  • Experience managing alarm systems in a large, complex organisation

  • Strong collaboration skills to work closely with engineering and operational teams

  • Capable of supporting training and awareness raising activities related to alarm systems

Desirable:

  • Background in programme management

  • Electrical engineering experience
