Our client has been established for almost a decade and specialise in the provision of a range of solutions allied to the commercial security industry. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and self‑motivated Field / Alarm Service Engineer - Security Systems to complement their professional team.
As a Field / Alarm Service Engineer you will be responsible for installing new security systems and system upgrades, carrying out routine preventative maintenance and diagnosing and repairing faults. You will Commission new and existing systems including Programming and configuring equipment, and carry out system modifications and additions as required. Other duties will include testing completed works and ensuring systems are operating correctly, completing accurate job records and service documentation and identifying additional faults, recommendations or remedial works while on site, communicating professionally with customers, site contacts and other contractors at all times and taking responsibility for allocated jobs from arrival through to completion, and ensuring installations are completed neatly and to a high standard.
It is envisaged the successful Field / Alarm Service Engineer candidate will have at least three years' experience within the electronic security industry and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels, a flexible approach to working hours and a methodical approach to fault find and repair, with experience of Dahua, Honeywell, Paxton, SALTO, AXIS and Hanwha systems proving distinctly advantageous.
You will essentially hold a full UK driving licence and realistically hold ECS / CSCS, IPAF or PASMA qualifications along with recognised Security industry, electrical and Fire alarm qualifications.
