A charity organization is seeking a Peer Support Worker to provide support to individuals facing mental health challenges. This full-time role involves utilizing personal experience to empower Guests, facilitating skill development and collaborative care in a supportive team. The position offers an annual salary of £24,765.00, rising after probation, and includes a commitment to work alternate weekends and provide overnight support.
As a Peer Support Worker, you will be an integral part of a supportive team, utilising your own lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery to offer hope, understanding, and build meaningful connections with our Guests. You will empower Guests to develop their skills and agency through collaborative care and safety planning.
Hours – 37.5 hours per week (full time), shifts including alternate weekends with the expectation of 1 sleep in per week (paid at £70 per night).
Hourly rate – £12.70 rising to £12.88 after probation
Annual salary – £24,765.00 rising to £25,116.00 after probation
