Job description

Job Title: AIS Programme Assurance Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced AIS Programme Assurance Manager.

Working Location

London, Victoria
*Expected to be in the office and/or on-site at least 3 days a week*

Key Responsibilities
  1. Devising and delivering a major works assurance programme, including creating a programme of works, reviewing high-profile technical projects, revising scopes, liaising with stakeholders, and leading remedial projects commissioning.
  2. Leading and managing multiple housing-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with the objectives of the Housing Assets, Investments, and Standards directorate.
  3. Preparing regular project updates, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, tracking milestones, timelines, and budgets.
  4. Supporting and driving the directorate’s major works governance and transformation activities.
Reporting Line

Reports to the Interim Head of Major Works.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Supporting the production of a capital major works programme.
  • Collaborating with external providers to quality assure housing stock condition data.
Candidate Requirements
  • Motivated, proactive, and flexible.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in asset management and capital major works delivery.
  • Housing-related technical project experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical delivery requirements.
  • Proficient in convening and leading project teams, establishing project controls.
  • Skilled in risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder, contractor, and resident engagement skills.
