An established industry player seeks an Airworthiness Engineer to join their Helicopter Division. We are looking for an Airworthiness Engineer to work within our Helicopter Division based in Yeovil. Reporting to the Chief Initial Airworthiness Engineer within the engineering function of Leonardo Helicopters UK, you will be collaborating with a range of teams from the design office, project engineering, flight test pilots, quality and the production areas to ensure that all aspects of the initial airworthiness process are compiled and completed in an effective and timely manner. Looking to the future you will also have the exciting prospect of working with our remotely piloted vehicles. You will work on new, and changes to, helicopters type certification, verifying that they meet the design and safety requirements of the MAA, CAA and other validating authorities. You will be responsible for classifying, and certifying the relevant helicopter design changes deemed necessary to develop and improve helicopter configuration and performances.
