    Job Description

    In this role you will be the Finance Business Operation Manager, supporting the UK Home Office (Airwave) Business. The aim of the role is to business partner with the Airwave executive management team in driving ownership and performance of the cost base for Airwave. This will involve leading discussions with senior stakeholders on best use of funds, reporting and driving action from month end packs, driving cost savings to meet business targets, producing an accurate rolling forecast which is interlocked with the CV process, ensuring accurate accounting decisions throughout the year on costs and capex, ensuring month end reporting is accurate and support business cases for investment decisions across the business and any other ad-hoc projects. You will lead a team of 5 to 6 people.


    Basic Requirements
    • University Degree preferred
    • Accounting certification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) required
    • 10+ years experience working in Finance/Accounting roles demonstrating clear career path and development
    • 3+ years people management experience demonstrating development of individuals.
    • Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience influencing and supporting senior stakeholders inside and outside of finance
    • Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to simplify large volumes of data
    • Curiosity and drive to perform will be essential
    • Commercial decision making experience will be valuable
    • Comfortable working at a detailed level under tight timelines
    • Comfortable challenging costs with senior stakeholders and driving ownership in the business to deliver cost challenges.
    • Financial modelling skills
    • Strong systems skills including MS Office, SAP and Essbasse are a plus.
