ICT Asset Co-Coordinator (Band 4)

The Scottish Ambulance Service provides scheduled and unscheduled ambulance services across Scotland. The Service makes extensive use of cab-based technology in order to support efficient and effective service delivery. It has a fleet of over 1400 vehicles, the vast majority of which are equipped with ICT equipment of one form or another (e.g. cab based terminals, Airwave terminals, mobile data equipment etc).

We are currently looking for an ICT Asset Co-Coordinator to work within the Service ICT Department. The post holder will record, report, audit and verify the assets against the Asset Databases. The post holder will also ensure the Service complies with any asset database requirements of the TEA2 license in relation to recording Airwave Assets. The post holder will assist in the coordination of the Airwave Terminal Audit and assist the In Cab Technician to interface with any internal/external department in relation to asset issues.

Applicants must have a current driving licence and it would be advantageous to hold groups C1 and D1. An understanding of the Airwave Radio Service and Cab Base Terminals would be highly desirable.

Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. If there is any change to what is currently required, this will be confirmed by either the Hiring Manager or the Recruitment Team.
