ICT Department – Motherwell/ Dalgety Bay (Under Review)
The Scottish Ambulance Service provides scheduled and unscheduled ambulance services across Scotland. The Service makes extensive use of cab-based technology to support efficient and effective service delivery. It operates a fleet of over 1400 vehicles, most of which are equipped with ICT equipment such as cab-based terminals, Airwave terminals, and mobile data devices.
We are seeking an ICT Asset Co-Coordinator to work within the Service ICT Department. The responsibilities include recording, reporting, auditing, and verifying assets against the Asset Databases. The post holder will also ensure compliance with asset database requirements related to the TEA2 license and Airwave Assets. Additionally, the role involves coordinating the Airwave Terminal Audit and assisting the In Cab Technician with internal and external asset-related communications.
Applicants must hold a current driving license; possession of groups C1 and D1 licenses is advantageous. Knowledge of the Airwave Radio Service and Cab Base Terminals is highly desirable.
