Job summary

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is seeking an Airspace Regulation - Project Specialist to support delivery of ACPs and national infrastructure projects within the UK’s Airspace Modernisation Strategy.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, maintain governance, and manage documentation while engaging with regulators, policy teams and industry stakeholders to ensure projects meet regulatory expectations. Hybrid role based at Gatwick with two days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting projects or programmes in a structured environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Experience maintaining project documentation, plans, risks and actions.
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Planner, SharePoint, Loop or Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of Airspace Regulation projects and programmes.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, issue logs and action trackers.
• Prepare project reports, briefings, dashboards and governance materials.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Monitor project progress and elevate risks, issues or dependencies.
• Support the development and implementation of new processes, systems and ways of working.
• Assist with the management of project governance and assurance activities.
• Coordinate inputs from technical specialists, policy teams and external stakeholders.
• Maintain project records and ensure documentation is complete, accurate and auditable.
• Support the delivery of improvements to Airspace Regulation systems and digital services.
• Contribute to the development of business cases, regulatory submissions and project documentation.
• Build effective working relationships with colleagues, industry stakeholders and government partners.
