Job summary

Civil Aviation Authority in the UK seeks an Airspace Modernisation Lead planner to drive the Strategy delivery and act as SME across internal and external partners. You will work to deliver UK AMS by 2050, coordinating with delivery teams such as NERL and MoD, guiding policy and stakeholder engagement, and shaping evolution of airspace strategy.

Qualifications

• Clear understanding of the UK AMS and related aims and objectives.
• Proven experience developing strategic or operational plans and the production of multifaceted strategy documents.
• Experienced leader of multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels internally, with industry, and with national and international stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of national reporting into ICAO, Eurocontrol and others.
• Knowledge of ATM and aviation law principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and draft Airspace Modernisation plans and strategy documents associated with the UK AMS.
• Internal and external UK stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
• Influencing at the International level to ensure UK AMS and alignment with the international plans.
• Collaboration with airspace user and industry stakeholder groups to support AMS objectives.
• Coordinating with Airspace Modernisation Delivery Teams to ensure alignment with AMS objectives.
• Provide SME Airspace and ATC guidance for trials and other developing innovation projects.
