Job summary

London Gatwick Airport is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician to join our engineering team in Horley. This permanent role focuses on maintaining a diverse range of assets and complex systems across the airport infrastructure.

You will deliver planned, reactive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, keep accurate CMMS records, and promote safety. The role offers a competitive package and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification to ONC level, or equivalent experience.
• Electrical Skilled Person ESR 2 certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned, reactive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the safe and reliable operation of critical airport assets and infrastructure.
• Diagnose faults and carry out electrical, mechanical and control system maintenance to maximise asset availability and performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS and ensure compliance with regulatory, company and manufacturer requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting incidents, hazards and near misses.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to minimise operational disruption, share technical knowledge and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Continuously develop technical skills and contribute to the overall performance and capability of the engineering team.
