Job summary

Aviation Advisors Limited is urgently recruiting Security Officers for Heathrow Airport. Permanent positions with day, night, and weekend shifts available. 45–60 hours weekly guaranteed, with weekly pay every Friday.

Roles involve patrolling, monitoring CCTV, controlling access and responding to incidents. Shifts include day 8:00–18:00 or 08:00–20:00 (£19.50/hour), night 20:00–08:00 (£22.50/hour), weekends/overtime at £25.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice threats or suspicious behaviour.
• Clear and effective communication for reporting and interactions.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions.
• De-escalation skills to resolve conflicts peacefully.
• Familiarity with security equipment, CCTV and basic computer apps.
• Ability to patrol for extended periods and stay fit.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing buildings, perimeters and access points.
• Monitoring CCTV and other security systems for threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling access by checking IDs and logging entries/exits.
• Responding to alarms, incidents and emergencies with appropriate actions.
• Enforcing security policies and procedures and addressing disturbances.
• Maintaining logs and reporting irregularities to relevant personnel.

Job description

We are urgently looking for a number of Security Officers to join our team at Heathrow Airport starting at the end of themonth.

Permanent work offered.

Day , night and weekend shifts available

You can choose to work days or just nights + weekends

Day shifts 8 am till 6 pm or 8 am till 8 pm paying £19.50 hour

Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £22.50 hour

Weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 hour

We pay weekly every Friday.

45-60 hours per week guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
• Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
