Location: MANCHESTER

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday, 4 on 4 off shift basis

Pay Rate: £22.56 to £24.40 per hour

Role Overview and Purpose

The Security Officer will ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service are always provided to the client and visitors to the site. The role is the public face of the security team and requires professionalism and a proactive attitude.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador of the site, delivering first-class guest-focused service each time
• Work as a team player in meeting guest needs and contributing to all departments
• Conduct regular patrols of the centre as per site instructions, being proactive
• Assist visitors proactively and help wherever opportunities arise
• Manage incidents according to site policies and procedures
• Liaise with the control room, react to incidents, and support colleagues
• Monitor human behavior and surveillance, log and report incidents
• Maintain vigilance against unauthorized access and manage banned individuals
• Follow radio procedures consistently
• Collaborate with the Environmental Services team to deliver integrated service
