Job summary

East Midlands Airport is seeking a Business Continuity Manager to strengthen how the airport prepares for, responds to and recovers from disruption. You will embed a resilient BCMS across the organisation, coordinating with colleagues at all levels and external partners.

Key requirements include CBCI qualification (or equivalent) with at least 3 years in a similar role, strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to lead risk-based continuity planning, testing, and audit

Qualifications

Experience in BCMS development and management, including documentation and exercising.
Strong ability to communicate and influence across senior leadership and operational teams.
Ability to obtain CTC level security clearance or has it already.

Responsibilities

Embed a culture of business continuity and resilience across EMA, engaging stakeholders to own continuity.
Ensure a robust BCMS aligned with ISO22301 requirements.
Develop, maintain and deliver dynamic, risk-based continuity plans for EMA.
Support departments to develop effective business impact analyses and continuity plans.
Implement testing and validation programmes for continuity plans.
Develop and maintain an audit programme for business continuity at EMA.
Create tools to support timely management information on business continuity.
