Job summary

Swissport UK&I is seeking an experienced Airport Team Manager to lead daily operations at the airport, driving safe, profitable, high‑quality performance in line with customer expectations. You will motivate and develop staff, manage P&L, and collaborate with unions and internal stakeholders to deliver targets and continuous improvement.

The role demands robust leadership, strong change management, and a focus on delivering operational excellence across a diverse team in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with significant P&L accountability and leadership of large teams.
• Fluent spoken and written English with strong communication skills.
• Able to build positive relationships and lead change across a diverse workforce.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and ensure service delivery targets.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leader: ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and local procedures.
• P&L Management: manage labor-to-revenue targets and controllable costs.
• Leadership: build strong supervisory teams and partner with stakeholders and trade unions.
• Operational Excellence: monitor KPIs, plan resources, and deliver high standards.
• Strategic Growth: develop customer relationships and pursue commercially aligned opportunities.
