Job summary

BaxterStorey at Gatwick Airport is seeking flexible, zero-hours Cleaners/Housekeepers to join the team and provide cover when full-time staff are unavailable. Duties include cleaning lounges to high standards, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying bins, maintaining toilets, and reporting repairs.

A friendly and proactive approach is essential. Offer includes a rate of £14.33 per hour plus holiday pay; role is airport-based with shift cover across early to late hours.

Qualifications

• No formal experience or qualifications required; emphasis on customer service and a helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lounges to high standards.
• Sweep, vacuum and mop floors.
• Empty rubbish bins and wipe down communal areas.
• Service toilets and showers; deep cleaning when needed.
• Notify management of repairs.
• Mix and dispose of cleaning solutions safely.
• Maintain and top up stock as required.
