Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the Heathrow area is seeking a First Line Manager to lead cleaning teams and ensure smooth flight operations. This permanent, full-time role features a 5 on 3 off shift pattern and an on-site location at Heathrow (TW6 2GA).

You will manage day-to-day allocation of teams, set priorities for the Cabin Quality Supervisor, and be responsible for training, quality, and people processes. Stakeholder relations and safe, compliant operations are key.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving license (essential).
• Preferred experience within Aviation.
• Management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day allocation and deployment of cleaning teams using the PDA system linked to INFORM.
• Set clear priorities for the Cabin Quality Supervisor.
• Take responsibility for operational performance during the shift, including training plans and quality.
• Ensure shift briefs are delivered for all cleaning teams and priorities are communicated.
• Manage colleagues including all people processes (RTWs, absence, disciplinary issues, performance).
• Oversee deployment of cleaning teams to meet the flight schedule and stock requirements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships during the shift and escalate issues when needed.
