Job summary

London Southend Airport is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will take responsibility for your own section, preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service and maintain strict food hygiene standards. You will also supervise junior chefs and assist with stock control and mise en place, contributing to the Airports’ One Team culture and being willing to work various shifts, including early

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or similar is required.
• Passion for delivering high-quality food.
• Strong attention to detail and food safety knowledge.
• Effective communication with team in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Own section of the kitchen and prepare dishes to a high standard.
• Work with kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Supervise junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and stock levels.
