Job summary

VINCI Building UK is recruiting an experienced Design Manager for civils works on a landmark Heathrow Terminal 4 transformation. The role requires working in a live airport environment with a focus on precision, collaboration and innovation.

You will own design programmes, manage information governance (CDE/ISO 19650), ensure CDM 2015 and Building Safety Act compliance, and drive value engineering and interface design across temporary and permanent works.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design management for civils packages on complex projects.
• Knowledge of BIM, CDE management, and ISO 19650 practices.
• Understanding of CDM 2015 requirements and safety governance.

Responsibilities

• Implement design management processes aligned to contract requirements.
• Establish governance, gates and decisions for design progression.
• Foster collaboration across project teams, consultants and suppliers.
• Develop and manage design programmes with inter‑discipline logic.
• Integrate TIDPs into programmes; monitor progress and take corrective action.
• Lead design coordination meetings focusing on deliverables and stakeholders.
