Airplay is a national youth work programme delivered on behalf of the RAF Benevolent Fund (RAFBF). Airplay Clubs are for children aged eight to 18, which includes our digital Airplay Connect service and Ben Clubs which provide fun activities for children aged five to seven.
We need you to join us for 25 hours per week to manage and lead Airplay at RAF Medmenham and High Wycombe. Hours will include the following session delivery times:
Medmenham:
Tuesday - Ben Club: 15:30 – 16:30, Juniors/Seniors: 17:00 – 19:00
High Wycombe: Wednesday - Juniors: 4:30pm – 6:30pm
Thursday: Ben Club: 4:30pm – 6:00pm / Seniors: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Admin tasks can be completed flexibly, either from home or in the office (to be agreed with line manager), with plenty of overtime opportunities available.
Working times are likely to change in holiday periods to cover activity programmes so some flexibility is required. Any timings of hours and/or overtime would be agreed in partnership with your line manager.
Reporting to the Station Youth Worker, an Airplay Worker supports with the delivery of a range of outreach and centre based youth work with young people aged 5-18 years and in line with the Airplay Theory of Change and YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles. Training can be given for this role.
