Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our dnata Catering & Retail UK team as an Account Manager – Scheduled Carriers, providing first-class service to our business.

The role involves overseeing all aspects of allocated catering contracts, ensuring management, compliance, and delivery of contractual obligations. This includes liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to meet quality standards, service requirements, financial targets, and mitigate risks. The role is vital for driving business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, and supports sales strategy development.
Key Accountabilities
Contract Management:
- Administer allocated catering contracts, including amendments and appendices.
- Ensure adherence to Catering Agreements, coordinate new cycles, address service requests, manage SLAs, and oversee commercials, understanding client needs to provide operational solutions.
- Manage menu presentation processes with internal stakeholders to meet customer satisfaction and commercial targets.
- Review contract terms for risks or discrepancies and propose solutions.
- Assess material contract changes and seek approval from the Head of Sales.
- Identify and mitigate contract-related issues and risks.
Account Growth:
- Identify and create new opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to spot opportunities.
- Collaborate on (re)tender responses, aligning with strategic objectives.
- Provide client requirements to facilitate product and service development.
- Oversee ad hoc flight/brief implementations with relevant teams.
- Record market data in Salesforce for strategic decisions.
Account Plans:
- Support creation with sales data and operational insights.
- Contribute to long-term account planning.
- Track and forecast sales revenue.
- Provide insights and recommendations for sales improvement.
Stakeholder Relationships:
- Build strong internal and external relationships.
- Act as a trusted advisor to maximize account potential.
- Coordinate with internal teams and guide on contract updates.
- Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Conduct regular reviews and visits.
Contract Performance:
- Monitor and report on KPIs and contractual obligations.
- Ensure benefits like invoicing/payments are delivered.
- Escalate issues promptly and suggest solutions.

Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Salesforce, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in a key language of the region (Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese) with cultural understanding.
- Adaptability to changing needs and conditions.
- Understanding of profit and loss analysis.
- Resilience under pressure and challenging situations.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales, account management, or a commercial team.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
