This role offers the opportunity to work on ground-breaking and high-profile defence projects valued in the hundreds of millions. You will be part of an industry-leading team, collaborating with Marshall and other major defence stakeholders and primes.

Purpose of the position

To carry out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft structures and mechanical systems in accordance with work card instructions and relevant controlled technical documentation.
Actively support, promote, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing efficiency gains.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognised Engineering apprenticeship or a relevant higher education qualification
  • Experience in Engineering within a maintenance environment
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team across all functions on site, demonstrating a proactive and flexible attitude to support business targets and company goals
  • A focus on "Continuous Improvement”
  • Attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Enthusiastic attitude, with good teamwork and communication skills
  • GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English
  • Good knowledge of H & S Legislation and some knowledge of COSHH
  • Electrical qualification advantageous but not essential
