Job summary

Tatton Recruitment is helping a Bristol-based aerospace manufacturer find Aircraft Technicians on a contract, office-based basis. You will work from engineering instructions and aircraft drawings and use power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing.

The role requires an Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship and related certifications. Overtime pays at x1.25 and x1.5, with flexible working options and room for training and development.

• Indenture or City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent) completed.

Certain Advantage is hiring for multiple Aircraft Technicians based in Bristol.

This role is on a contract basis and is office-based.

We're working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and separate Space and Defense division.

The Role

This role is for an Aircraft Technician -someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed. You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Work from engineering instructions and Aircraft Drawings
• Use of power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

• Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship
• Indenture and City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills level 2 and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised engineering field
