The role

As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll be involved in ground movement of aircraft and flight-line operations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing aircraft for daily flights, including “see-in” and “see-off”, fuel and oil replenishment, and Daily Check A maintenance.
  2. Undertaking scheduled and corrective maintenance of the LAFT Aircraft fleet.
  3. Performing pre-use checks and scheduled maintenance of Ground Support Equipment.
  4. Completing all documentation in accordance with legislation and company procedures.

This is a full-time, onsite role at RAF Benson.

Essential experience

  • Knowledge of MOD or Civilian Engineering procedures/documentation.
  • Experience in the aviation industry, including college or university placements.

Qualifications

  • Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, Military experience, or NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain CTC and DBS security clearances. Many roles are subject to security and trade restrictions based on nationality or residency.
