Aircraft Structures Technician

On behalf of our client who delivers critical and vital services to the Civil and Defence sectors, we are looking to recruit a Structures Technician, preferably with fast jet experience.

Job Title: Aircraft Structures Technician (B3T)
Location: RAF Valley, Holyhead
Type: Contract, long term
IR35: Inside
Daily Rate: negotiable

Responsibilities

The main tasks could include but are not limited to:

1. Carry out 1st signature responsibilities.
2. Carry out all authority level D special F tasks that do not require additional authorization criteria - subject to any limitations imposed by the authorising authority.
3. Ensure that the tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner, on time and to the highest standard.
4. Maintain a PEVL to establish continuity of experience.
5. Complete all work to a high standard ensuring that it conforms to current regulations and that documentation is promptly and accurately completed.
6. Ensure Company health, safety, and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with.
7. Maintain Environmental, Quality, Security, and Health & Safety standards as defined by company policies.

Requirements
Training in an Aircraft related discipline to:

1. City & Guilds 2675 Level 3 or equivalent or NVQ Level 3 in Aircraft maintenance.
2. Proficient in the interpretation of engineering drawings, workbook instructions, and technical manuals.
3. Qualified and experienced in primary and secondary Airframe structural repair techniques.
4. Candidate will be required to successfully complete a skill at hand test piece (insert repair) within a set time scale.
5. Mechanical Systems Type course.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have UK working rights at the time of application and be able to obtain the necessary security BPSS check.
