Job summary

Ryanair Engineering invites applications for a Planning Engineer based at Prestwick Airport, Scotland. The role supports Aircraft Heavy Maintenance production planning, working within PAM’s Planning Department to coordinate schedules and resources for Ryanair operations.

The candidate will contribute to KPI monitoring, procedural updates, and liaise with our client Ryanair to align maintenance timelines and capacity planning. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Relevant planning/project management or engineering degree required.
Strong organisational, analytical & time management skills.
Fluent in English; full computer literacy with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Create, monitor, and develop Aircraft Heavy Maintenance check schedules.
Assist/manage planning, facility, and heavy maintenance projects.
Monitor and update KPI reports.
Liaise with Ryanair on check timelines and future planning Heavy Maintenance base capabilities.
Assist the planning department team with updating and implementing new planning procedures and processes.
Manage facility manpower ensuring the facility can complete all planned work.
Perform scope of work assessments for all maintenance activities.
