Job description

Arden White is currently working in partnership with a leading aviation solutions provider based near Brize Norton. We are actively seeking Aircraft Fitters to join our client’s skilled maintenance team.

Location: Near RAF Brize Norton

Job Type: Permanent / Contract

Role Overview:

As an Aircraft Fitter, you will be responsible for performing a range of maintenance tasks on aircraft in accordance with technical documentation, regulatory standards, and company procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a highly respected organisation within the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repair tasks as directed by the hangar foreman or management team.
Transport heavy tools, equipment, and aircraft parts around the facility (forklift training can be provided).
Conduct cleaning and preparation of aircraft.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Store tools and equipment appropriately and report any damage or hazards through the correct channels.
Undertake additional duties or responsibilities as required by management.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on aircraft, OR
Completion of a recognised aircraft maintenance apprenticeship with at least 1 year’s experience, plus 12 months of service.
Ability to follow maintenance documentation and company procedures accurately.
A proactive attitude towards safety and team collaboration.
