Job description

Work Place Coach - Mechanical (Level 3)

Location

Berkeley, MO. - This position is expected to be 100% onsite

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  2. Analyze and interpret data; provide feedback on assessment results.
  3. Develop strategies, plans, and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.
  4. Implement strategies and plans at the appropriate organizational level.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  1. 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  2. 5+ years of mechanical experience as a machinist, mechanic, or with other mechanical skills.
  3. Experience with components manufacturing, installation, and maintenance.
  4. Completed a blueprint reading class.
  5. Experience with aircraft-specific tools such as support equipment, test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators.
  6. Ability to read and interpret technical data.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  1. Experience coaching individuals and providing feedback.
  2. Understanding, interpreting, and delivering process-driven instructions based on feedback from Manufacturing Operations and Quality.
  3. Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  4. Adaptability in a dynamic shop floor manufacturing environment.
