This is a permanent position based in Brize Norton.

Shift pattern: 5/5/4 shift working 7-7.

The Role

The unlicensed Aircraft Engineer will perform aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with technical documentation and company procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance tasks as directed by the Hangar Foreman, SLE, or LE, assisting other staff to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Book tasks and communicate if additional time is needed.
  • Move heavy equipment, tooling, and spares, including forklift operation (training provided).
  • Assist with aircraft cleaning and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Service aircraft toilets during maintenance.
  • Contain fuel and oil spills.
  • Assist with aircraft maneuvering.
  • Separate and recycle waste products.
  • Charge and maintain scissor lifts and batteries.
  • Check and maintain vehicle and equipment condition.
  • Report safety concerns immediately.
  • Ensure equipment is safe, clean, and functional, reporting faults.
  • Perform other team responsibilities or requests from management.
  • Recommend safety and efficiency improvements.
  • Support offsite tasks such as AOG or line support.
  • Stay updated with health and safety notices.
