Aircraft Maintenance Engineer CB22 (Sawston)

Location: Commutable from Saffron Walden, Haverhill, Royston, Cambridge, Letchworth Garden City

Salary: £36,000-£39,000

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (day shift)

Our client is a small yet growing business specializing in repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing vintage aircraft. Located just south of Cambridge, they are looking to expand their engineering team and seek an additional maintenance engineer to support aircraft repairs.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Work within a maintenance team of 8
2. Perform maintenance on aircraft systems such as engines, hydraulics, and air systems
3. Carry out repairs on older/vintage aircraft
4. Perform sheet metal repairs as needed
5. Execute machining tasks in the CNC workshop (if experienced)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Experience maintaining aircraft systems
• Ideally experience with older/vintage aircraft
• CNC/manual machining experience (desirable)
• Sheet metal experience (desirable)
