Exciting Opportunity: Become a B2 Avionics Technician with this Leading Aviation Company Contract and Permenant available

Are you a skilled and experienced Avionics Technician looking for your next challenge? This leading aviation company is seeking a talented B2 Avionics Technician to join their team. If you're passionate about aircraft maintenance and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. This role is available on a contract or permanent basis.



The B2 Avionics Technician Role

As a B2 Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out modifications and maintenance on aircraft in accordance with approved drawings and maintenance data. You will take full accountability for the technical integrity of all work performed, working closely with the Lead Technician or B2 Engineer to ensure the highest standards are met.

Your key duties will include precise wiring terminations and testing, removal and installation of various shelves, panels and equipment, interpreting technical manuals and schematics, and supporting avionics system testing, validation, and troubleshooting. You will also be expected to maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.



The Ideal B2 Avionics Technician

To be successful in this role, you will have completed an engineering apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical engineering or a military equivalent. Previous experience in aircraft modification or production is highly desirable, and you must possess excellent hand skills, attention to detail, and a reliable, adaptable, and collaborative approach.

You will also need to be eligible to work and live in the UK, and be subject to UK security vetting. Excellent knowledge of Avionics systems, as well as the required Part-145 training, is essential.
