Main Accountabilities:
  • Perform daily quality control checks on equipment.
  • Fuel aircraft safely and efficiently.
  • Accurately account for fuel transactions.
  • Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
  • Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
  • Defuel aircraft as directed.
  • Use fuel trucks and hydrant carts to fuel aircraft.
  • Lift and move up to 70 lbs of material and equipment.
  • Calculate fuel distributions for various aircraft.
  • Operate a variety of light and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Perform tasks according to company and airline procedures and policies.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions as required.
  • Maintain good attendance records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
  • Valid Class G driver’s license and airport security passes.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and instructions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances.
  • Pass and maintain the D AVOP certification issued by the GTAA (written & practical).
  • At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable and dependable.
