Job summary

Carbon 60 in Filton is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Airbus Fuel Systems Installation Wing Engineering Design Team. You will operate within a multi-national team across Filton and other sites, contributing to end-to-end design and installation concepts for fuel systems.

You will work on defining, validating and delivering design solutions using Catia V5 and design tools, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure on-time, safe and cost-efficient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Catia V5 and design tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a multi-national, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end design from conceptual to manufacturing support.
• Design and validate fuel system installation components for weight, cost and safety targets.
• Deliver the Definition Dossier for Manufacturing and Assembly.
• Define and enable technical studies and investigations
• Work on concepts supporting product incremental development and prototype trials.
