This position requires a motivated individual to provide technical engineering for obtaining aviation regulatory approvals of our products on commercial aircraft. This requires leadership to manage the Design Organization Approval (DOA) which has been granted to us by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA). In addition, the candidate must be able to design electrical, mechanical and functional interfaces in the aircraft for the Teledyne products being installed.
The candidate will act as a technical certification interface, both internally and externally for the projects supported. The successful candidate will be a leader with excellent communications skills to effectively collaborate with external airline customers, UK-CAA, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines.
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five-to-six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week in this is UK location. This position may at times require long hours and weekend or holiday work reflecting workload and deadlines. Must maintain regular and punctual attendance. A willingness and availability to work overtime is required on an as-needed basis.
This position requires 10% domestic and international travel.
