Job summary

Royal Navy in the UK is seeking an Inventory Manager at RAF Lossiemouth to support P-8 Poseidon and E-7 Wedgetail platforms. You'll manage item data, demand and supply planning, and supplier coordination to keep aircraft available.

The role is fast-paced and involves regular in-person work at Lossiemouth (about 60%), with flexible hours and a strong focus on collaboration. Applicants must be able to obtain SC security clearance and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.

Qualifications

• Experience in Inventory Management/Supply Chain environment.
• Stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Evidence of delivering customer service.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Experience in handling data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure MoD inventory is accounted for to enable optimized planning.
• Develop and execute P-8/E-7 demand and supply plans.
• Produce Customs declarations for UK distribution and work with stakeholders on shipments.
• Maintain Item Data Records in MoD systems for P-8 and E-7 equipment.
• Coordinate inventory disposal with platform disposal and ensure policy adherence.
• Coordinate with teams to align disposal with Defence user needs.
• Perform defined Operational Delivery IM management checks.
