Job Description:

This role is with a leading multi-national company in Europe, recognized for excellence with awards and career development opportunities.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance and residence in the UK for at least 5 years.

Role Overview:

Joining a growing team, you'll work on integrating products onto UK Defence platforms (Typhoon, F35, Wildcat), export platforms, or influencing the next generation of UK combat aircraft within Team TEMPEST. Experience can be from defence, armed forces, government, or wider industry.

Department: Airborne Systems within the System Design division, responsible for hardware and software design and commissioning for current and emerging products like lasers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Physics, Engineering, Electronics, Hardware, Computer Science, Software, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience across the full systems lifecycle and familiarity with engineering development activities.
  • Experience using DOORS software.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in defence, aerospace, or safety-regulated environments.
  • Experience working on airborne systems.
