Position: Air Traffic Services Assistant (ATSA) supporting Air Traffic Controllers at Cambridge Airport.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist controllers to ensure safe, efficient aircraft movement.
  • Post-employment, obtain Meteorological Observers qualification to prepare and disseminate meteorological and aeronautical information.
  • Communicate aircraft movements, flight bookings, warnings, and airspace activities; send flight plans and messages to external agencies.
  • Respond to aircraft emergencies following the Airport Emergency Plan.
  • Participate in operating the Air Traffic Services simulator.

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs/A Levels A-C desirable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills
  • UK driving license desirable
  • Good colour perception
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
