Qualifications

• Experience with Plenums, Smoke shafts, and PassivHaus is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment safely to and from test sites.
• Liaise with site agents and personnel during tests.
• Carry out tests as per industry standards.

Our client is looking for an experienced Air Tester to join their building consultancy. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work across the Residential and Commercial sectors with projects spread across South Wales and South West England.

Air Tester Requirements:

• ATTMA Level 1 or Level 2
• Full UK driving licence
• Knowledge of Building Regulations or construction industry guidelines
• Experience in testing complex buildings, Plenums, Smoke shafts, Isolations Rooms (HBN 04 BTS 03) and PassivHaus (Desirable)

Air Tester Duties:

• Safe transportation of equipment to and from the test site by vehicle and manually as required
• Liaise with site agents and personnel
• Size and plan proposed test approaches
• Carry out tests in accordance with CIBSE TM23:2000, BS EN13829:2001 and ATTMA TSL1 & TSL2
• Interpret and evaluate results during testing
• Produce ATTMA short reports using electronic system
• Undertake defect identification where necessary in event of test failure
