Job summary

Verelogic is seeking an experienced Air Technician to join our UK air hygiene and ventilation team. You will work across healthcare, education, local government and high‑security environments delivering essential services.

Your role includes fire damper testing, duct access door installs, AHU cleaning, and site documentation, with travel across the Mid to South of the UK. A full UK driving licence and willingness to stay away from home when required are important.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in air hygiene or ventilation hygiene
• Experience with fire damper testing and inspections
• AHT qualification preferred but not essential
• Strong health and safety knowledge and practical site approach
• Ability to work at height and in confined spaces
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fire damper testing, inspections, and reporting
• Installing duct access doors
• Ductwork and ventilation cleaning in line with TR19 and COSHH
• Completing kitchen extract cleaning to industry standards
• AHU cleaning, maintenance, and corrosion treatment
• Maintaining accurate site documentation (job sheets, surveys, timesheets)
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

A leading UK specialist in air hygiene and water treatment solutions is looking for an experienced Air Technician to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ventilation hygiene professional to join a well-established organisation delivering essential services across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, education, local government, and high-security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out fire damper testing, inspections, and reporting
• Installing duct access doors
• Undertaking ductwork and ventilation cleaning and disinfection in line with TR19 guidance and COSHH regulations
• Completing kitchen extract cleaning to required industry standards
• Carrying out Air Handling Unit (AHU) cleaning, maintenance, and corrosion treatment
• Maintaining accurate site documentation, including job sheets, survey forms, timesheets, and expenses
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the air hygiene or ventilation hygiene industry (essential)
• Experience with fire damper testing and inspections
• An AHT qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and a practical approach to site work
• The ability to work at height and in confined spaces when required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to travel, work occasional unsociable hours, and stay away from home when required
• A full UK driving licence

Location & Travel

You will be predominantly working across the Mid to South of the UK, with travel to customer sites required.
