Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services – part of Mitie in the Leeds region is seeking an Air Hygiene Supervisor to support our regional air hygiene operation, supervising operatives and carrying out technical works across multiple client sites.

The role emphasizes safe delivery, RAMS compliance, and adherence to TR19 and DW144 standards. Leadership, client communication and a proactive safety mindset are essential; a UK driving licence is required and a company van is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and maintaining ventilation and air hygiene systems.
• Understanding TR19, BS9999 and DW144 standards.
• Previous experience supervising teams or coaching and mentoring.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support air hygiene operatives, ensuring safe working practices in line with RAMS and maintaining professional client engagement at all times.
• Carry out kitchen extract and ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease and TR19 standards.
• Install access doors in line with DW144 and complete fire damper inspections in accordance with BS9999.
• Complete plant inspections, follow preventative maintenance programmes, and recommend repairs or equipment purchases where appropriate.
• Ensure accurate completion of service reports, pre‑work risk assessments and all required documentation.

Hours: 40 Hours (Mix of Days and Nights)

Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 (includes a Company Van and Over Time available)
