A government defense agency is seeking an Avionic Instructor to deliver initial trade training to RAF Aircraft Electronic/Electrical Apprentices. This role involves practical and classroom instruction on aircraft systems, building training programs, and evaluating student progress. Candidates should have relevant technical qualifications and experience in aviation training. The working environment includes modern training aids like simulators and aircraft.
The role of an Avionic Instructor, at the RAF No1 School of Technical Training, is to provide initial trade training to RAF Aircraft Electronic/Electrical Apprentices, as well as more advanced training to existing RAF aeronautical engineers. The school also delivers the same aeronautical training to international students under government contract.
The working environment is a mixture of Classroom and Practical based training delivery, which takes place within the delivery areas, using classrooms, workshops, Ground training aids such as the Jaguar and Tornado aircraft and aircraft system simulators using modern learning methods.
They will also be expected to teach in other delivery areas as required, giving the school enhanced capability and resilience.
