Job summary

Valoris Group is recruiting an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Service and Breakdown Engineer to join their Cardiff-based team. You will service, fault-find and repair domestic air source heat pump systems across Cardiff and South Wales, maintaining high standards and clear homeowner communication.

The role requires proven heat pump experience, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently with support from the technical/installation teams when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing or repairing air source heat pumps.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of domestic heating and hot-water systems.
• Experience with heating controls, pumps, cylinders and associated components.
• Relevant plumbing, heating or renewable-energy qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining domestic air source heat pump systems.
• Diagnosing faults and completing effective breakdown repairs.
• Checking electrical components, hydraulics, controls and overall system performance.
• Investigating issues involving circulation, flow temperatures, cylinders and system pressure.
• Replacing defective components and identifying any required follow-up work.
• Completing accurate service records while providing clear advice to homeowners.
