Due to an increasing climate-focused pipeline, we have a unique opportunity for an Air Quality & Climate Consultant to join our Air Quality and Climate team during a growth phase. This role involves working on a large-scale climate risk and adaptation project, alongside a diverse air quality pipeline including permitting, Habitats Regulations Assessment, and DMRB assessments.
This is a chance to influence our team’s direction, shape impactful environmental projects, and support business development and mentoring apprentices in air quality and climate.
The position is permanent, with flexible office locations in London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Manchester, and York, or hybrid working arrangements.
You will support project delivery in a friendly, supportive environment, receiving mentorship and development opportunities. Your responsibilities include:
Supporting assessments following EPUK/IAQM and DMRB guidance, developing dispersion models, and assisting with permit applications and compliance.
Conducting climate risk assessments, utilizing climate projections and GIS tools, developing resilience strategies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions.
Supporting growth by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to bids.
Staying updated on climate science and environmental policies, improving assessment methodologies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
