Warehouse Operative

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our team supporting a key client in the seamless shipping and receipt of IT equipment, accessories, and products across multiple destinations. As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include supporting all aspects of the supply chain within warehouse operations: receiving, inspecting, asset tagging, securely storing, handling, shipping, validating, and preparing products for delivery, staging, or transfer, while maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse environment.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday – Friday from 08:00 to 16:30, with occasional shifts from 12:30 to 21:00. It offers a great opportunity to grow with a company committed to developing talent, providing hands-on training, and supporting your long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive shipments and inventory equipment into the inventory system and other client systems.
  • Manage freight movement, inventory, storage, and maintenance of client products; pick and pack for various clients.
  • Scan inbound freight into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and verify accuracy.
  • Pack equipment onsite and prepare outbound shipments.
  • Arrange transportation, ensuring timely dispatch to meet delivery commitments.
  • Provide customer service, including answering calls, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to shipments.
  • Liaise with couriers and carriers.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory records and conduct regular reporting, including managing a chain of custody for assets.
  • Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and inventory cycle to meet deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment; experience in data-center environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods/Restricted Articles regulations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Customer service experience with a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work morning/afternoon shifts, with potential overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Interest in learning about new products, systems, and processes related to data center operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
