Job summary

FG Logistics LTD, a Ferrari Group company, is seeking an airfreight import operative to join our team at London Heathrow. You will arrange import clearances and deliveries of high value goods based on client instructions.

Role requires experience in import freight forwarding, coordination with airlines and clients, and strong knowledge of CDS and customs procedures to ensure timely shipments. This is a full-time, office-based position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in import freight forwarding / logistics, preferably high value goods.
• Knowledge of different imports (bonded warehouse, IPR, TIB, etc.).
• Positive, professional customer focus with a can-do attitude.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and import procedures.
• Knowledge of CDS for customs purposes.
• Italian or French language is preferable.
• No criminal convictions – DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage inbound shipments according to customers’ needs.
• Prepare and submit customs documentation, including import declarations, import CITES.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status.
• Support other members of the import team to ensure smooth operations.
• Update shipping files.
• Liaise with airlines/airport handlers to meet operational requirements and provide status reports.
• Ensure all quality control procedures are updated and adhered to.
