Job summary

Future Select Limited seeks an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer in Walsall to service a diverse portfolio of commercial and public sector premises. The role requires TR19/BS9999 knowledge, with training provided, and offers a salary between £28k and £37k plus benefits and a company vehicle.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience, be willing to travel, and be proficient in generating detailed technical reports and fire damper testing. Training and overtime are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer.
• Preferred qualifications include Fire Damper Testing and BESA Air Hygiene.
• Knowledge of TR19 and BS9999 guidelines.
• Flexible to travel per client requirements.
• Good literacy and numeracy; confident with IT software.

Responsibilities

• Cleans on ventilation, ductwork, kitchen extracts and canopies.
• Fire damper logging.
• Testing of fire dampers.
• Remedial works, including TEK screw, collar and link changes.
• Fitting access doors.
• Identifying faults and making recommendations for works.
• Taking pre and post work photographs.
• Producing detailed technical reports.
• Adhering to set personal targets and project scopes.
