Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking a Design Engineer (Fuel Systems) for a technical ownership role in a long-term contract. You will design air and fuel system components, lead design reviews, and drive validation using APQP, FMEA, and DVP&R, collaborating with suppliers and global teams.

Based in Peterborough on-site, you will work a 40-hour week with flexible working options and be paid 40–41.84 per hour inside IR35; the role offers long-term stability and the chance to deliver robust solutions through

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent with strong mechanical fundamentals.
• Experience designing air/fuel system components, preferably in powertrain.
• Ability to lead design activity using structured methods (APQP, FMEA, DVP&R).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver air/fuel system component development projects with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• On-site role in Peterborough with collaboration across global engineering and production facilities.
• Deliver designs to time, cost and quality targets and support validation activities.
